Tasha was named a Screen Daily Star of Tomorrow in 2023, was invited to join BAFTA as a full member in 2022 and is a newly named member of the British Society of Cinematographers, following her BSC Award for Best Cinematography in a Short Film in 2021 for her work on Enjoy.
Her feature film credits include Animol, the directorial debut of Ashley Walters starring Stephen Graham; Naqqash Khalid’s BIFA-nominated In Camera, featuring Nabhaan Rizwaan; and GIRL, directed by Adura Onashile, which was nominated for both a BAFTA and a Sundance Award.
In television drama, Tasha’s work spans The Tower (Season 3) for Mammoth/ITV, second unit on Apple TV’s Masters of the Air, Traces (Season 2) for Alibi, and two seasons of Channel 4’s BAFTA-winning 4Stories — Adulting and A Mother’s Love.
Other notable credits include The Destructors, the Turner Prize-winning film by artist Imran Perretta.
Before establishing herself as a director of photography, Tasha spent over a decade in the camera department as an assistant and operator on feature films and high-end drama, from assisting on Steve McQueen’s Hunger and World War Z to operating on The Marvels.
